Bad Zurzach (Switzerland)

Back in Switzerland (just), on the banks of the Rhine river forming the border between Switzerland & Germany. The town (Bad Zurzach) is cut in half by the river, so we bought our dinner in Germany & ate it in Switzerland. I can feel the rolls of fat in my armpits expanding & we haven't even started the cruise yet. Today we had a lovely time travelling through the villages of Southern Germany, they are all so clean & tidy & well maintained.
We were travelling the magnificent German roads with 120k speed limits until we reached an open stretch of Autobahn with no speed limit (& NO tolls). I had the cruise control set at 110k & was travelling in the slow lane, with many cars passing us like we were standing still & probably doing well in excess of 200k.
We explored the village of 'Altheim' which I believe has family connections for me & will discuss with Roz.
It was a very strange feeling. The area was truly lovely & we had glorious sunny weather to boot.
We spoke with some locals & explored & photographed the 2 cemetarys. It was a very melancholy experience.

This evening we sat in the fountain courtyard playing dominoes & Yvonne forced us to Knock off another litre of wine, so my face feels like it is glowing. I should go & move the car as it is parked in the wrong place but I feel this would be a bad idea.
The last posting only had Swiss pictures, so I will try to remedy that now (I was seduced by the country).
Tomorrow we intend to head north again and into the Black Forest of Germany.
Half way up the pfanderbahn (cable car) Bregnez on Bodensee.

This is NOT France.
