Moved along from our rest stay in 'Briancon' & we are feeling much refreshed. It is my birthday today, so the day started very
well..... Completed our drive through the alps, which was very scenic, sorry I can't be more descriptive but I am a little
pissed as we have spent the afternoon under a shady tree at a sidewalk cafee, testing some of the local brews.
The temperature is about 30 degrees & tomorrow I will change to short pants.(summer has come to France ).
We checked out a kind of walled castle & buildings built in the 1500s'. It was very cool.
Yvonne scoped a lovely little hotel about 45 minutes north of 'Nice' within walking distance of everything we needed.
We didn't make it to Italy today but we are very close. I think I could get used to this lifestyle very easily.
This is the best I can do for today as things are a little hazy at the moment. I will see if I can find some pictures to
post.
